We had a fantastic day with a group of children at the Sturt Street Community School OSHC today, where we made Messages of Hope for refugees.

As part of my campaign encouraging people from all across Australia to send Messages of HOPE to refugees this Christmas, I helped these great young people to make a card for another young person who may otherwise not get anything.

We had a lot of fun making the cards and I want to say thank you to all of the children who helped and to Sturt Street Communtiy School for helping to make this happen.

They're finished and looking fantastic

There are families and children who will be forced to spend this Christmas behind bars, isolated and alone, even though they haven’t committed any crime. I’m asking you to send a card to my office, and I will forward them on to the thousands of people out there who need our support.

Send your cards to:
